But this tutorial is a massive drag and nearly made me close the game before I even got to play it. It literally took me 20 minutes until I reached the first level where I actually got to play the game.ĭon't get me wrong, I was having fun afterwards and I completed the demo level twice. A hub giving you even more detail information about mechanics that don't concern you yet, lore, dialogues and cutscenes which I just skipped because frankly I didn't care anymore at this point and I just wanted some gameplay. 5 kills later, you suddenly get killed off mid-combat in a "10 minutes later" cutscene.Īnd you wake up in a hub. I don't care about how I can spend 2000 coins on new equipment I can keep after my death when I'm sitting on 50 coins and there is nothing to kill me.ġ5 minutes into the demo, you finally get some action. I don't care about how I can repair terminals with cores when I don't ever see a core until beating the first boss. I don't care about how I can heal myself when there is nothing I need to heal from. I don't care about the 4 different attacks when there is nothing to attack. All while there's essentially no gameplay. For over 10 minutes you learn lots of details about different collectibles, unlockables, terminals, all kinds of stuff you haven't even come in touch with, and won't for the rest of the demo.
